Boomtrain Introduces Boomtrain Messenger

Boomtrain, a provider of marketing platforms powered by artificial intelligence (AI), today unveiled Boomtrain Messenger, enabling personalized conversations through multiple channels with one master control.

Boomtrain Messenger captures a rich history of engagements and behaviors to provide a full, unified view of each user, and uses triggers to give conversations a meaningful starting point.

"Popular tools like chatbots and individual chat apps are typically based on one-directional communication and provide a very limited view of the customer," said Nick Edwards, CEO and co-founder of Boomtrain, in a statement. "Boomtrain Messenger will seamlessly bake into core marketing applications and allow marketers to engage with customers through intelligent, bidirectional conversations at the right time and with the right context."

Combined with Boomtrain's core AI platform, Boomtrain Messenger helps marketers incorporate multichannel chat functionality to facilitate bidirectional, scalable conversations with customers. The bidirectional conversations are initiated by specific triggers based on user activities. The intelligent messaging uses AI to provide a full, unified view of each user by understanding the full history of prior engagements and conversations. This approach provides the full context to facilitate highly relevant messaging, using the right content at the right time.

The development of Boomtrain Messenger was made possible by Boomtrain’s acquisition of Nudgespot, an India-based messaging platform, which was also announced today. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"The acquisition of Nudgespot will accelerate our strategy to enable AI-powered communications between businesses and their customers," Edwards said in a statement. "This is the first productized messaging application that will be fully integrated into a marketing suite. This gives marketers the ability to incorporate multi-channel chat functionality, combined with our artificial intelligence platform, to facilitate personalized, scalable conversations with their customers."

"Nudgespot and Boomtrain are pushing the envelope when it comes to bidirectional messaging technologies," said Raveen Sastry, co-founder of Nudgespot, in a statement. "Teaming up with Boomtrain will continue to extend our offering to more businesses in need of advanced, easy-to-use B2C messaging solutions, powered by advanced artificial intelligence."

Together, Boomtrain and Nudgespot are combining Boomtrain’s artificial intelligence technology with NudgeSpot’s best-in-class messaging platform to enable scalable and personalized customer engagement. Boomtrain and Nudgespot initially partnered nine months ago.

Boomtrain Messenger is currently in beta and will be generally available in the fourth quarter of this year. Customers can use it with Boomtrain's Marketing Engine, an AI-powered, cross channel marketing platform, or within their existing marketing platforms.
