The 2008 CRM Market Awards: Elite -- Introduction
If you’re a regular reader, you know how much we like to praise successful CRM implementations—but each year around this time, we like to draw attention to a select few. Return on investment and other metrics are compelling, but what really draws our attention are projects that help businesses conduct their business better. We think we’ve found some: enterprise-level and midmarket, marketing and sales—these are CRM initiatives that worked, and are still working, continuing to provide value to users wise enough to commit to them.
This year, the magazine has named four customer implementations as winners of its CRM Elite Award:
* Qualcomm, for a mixed deployment of EchoSign and Salesforce.com;
* VisionShare, for a Microsoft Dynamics CRM deployment with Axonom;
* the Toledo Mud Hens, for a Microsoft Dynamics CRM deployment with First Tech Direct; and
* Ice Energy, for an initiative with JangoMail.
