NEW PRODUCTS
Dictaphone has introduced mdEssential, a solution designed to automate the clinical documentation process in the clinic and physician group practice markets by combining Dictaphone's voice dictation, speech recognition, and natural language processing (NLP) technologies. The new software is designed to speed documentation time and reduce transcription costs by removing manual processes from the traditional dictation/transcription process while fulfilling data capture requirements of electronic medical records. mdEssential will use NLP technology to analyze the content of dictated records and then populate patients' medical records with the data.
QAS has released QuickAddress Pro Web 5.0, the latest version of software that validates addresses against official U.S. Postal Service and 17 worldwide postal authority records during entry over the Internet, browser-based, and thin-client applications. In addition to automating the entry of valid addresses, the version is more scalable and compatible with a wider array of programming standards. Pro Web 5.0 enables customers to validate their own addresses while ordering from a company's Web site.
DoubleClick Email Solutions has released DARTmail 4.5, an enhanced email marketing platform that addresses a growing demand among marketers for delivery reporting capabilities, enhanced usability, and integration with Aprimo's Marketing Campaign Manager, Omniture's SiteCatalyst, and Return Path's Mailbox Monitor. In addition, new domain reporting gives end-users visibility into how well their email messages are performing across the domains on a file.
Convergys has expanded its Infinys billing software capabilities. Convergys is offering the rating capabilities of Infinys to its U.S. clients deploying network-based prepaid wireless services, based on a new licensing agreement with Freedom Wireless.

Five9 has announced it will open the first Five9 Centers of Excellence. The Centers of Excellence, located in New Delhi and Makati City, the Philippines, will provide new call centers and entrepreneurs with the opportunity to start their businesses with limited upfront investments by renting office space and technology by the seat. In addition, the centers will offer access to best practices for call centers and comprehensive training.
Experian will now offer Experian Intact, Europe's most widely used online data cleansing services, in Italy and Ireland. Already available in France, Holland, Spain, and the United Kingdom. U.S. businesses operating in Italy and Ireland can now clean and enhance their data via Experian's Web site.

Parature has appointed
Dan Yoo as CFO. Prior to joining Parature, Yoo cofounded ReliaQuote, an Internet insurance brokerage firm.
KANA CEO
Chuck Bay is going on medical leave. He will remain a member of the board of directors. Fellow board member Mike Fields will take the responsibility of acting president and will assume the position of chairman.
Antenna Software has appointed
James DeSocio and
Brad Waugh to the company's board of directors. DeSocio is the CEO of Riskclick and Waugh is the CEO of consulting firm Watch Hill Partners.
