Cirrus Insight Brings Eloqua Marketing Automation to Gmail

Cirrus Insight, providers of apps for integrating Salesforce with Gmail and Google Apps, today announced a new integration that brings Eloqua marketing automation to Gmail.

Now Eloqua customers who use Salesforce have access to all of their marketing automation intelligence right in their Gmail inbox without having to toggle back and forth between the two programs.

"While marketing automation is an excellent tool for creating custom campaigns, its effects are limited without the knowledge salespeople gain from direct interaction with customers," said Jason Hubbard, vice president of marketing at Cirrus Insight, in a statement. "Integrating Eloqua with Gmail improves collaboration between departments and gives salespeople the ability to drop prospects into custom campaigns right from the inbox, making the process more efficient and informed."

Eloqua, which was acquired by Oracle in December 2012, is a tool for marketers to target the right buyers, execute campaigns, get the best leads to sales, and deliver the highest return on marketing investment. The new Cirrus Insight integration brings all of the information Eloqua collects directly into the inbox and automatically displays it alongside prospect and customer email.

For Cirrus, this is the most recent in a long series of integrations that have synced data from Zendesk, Desk.com, Hubspot, Pardot, and RingLead, among others, to Gmail.
