StreamSend Introduces Automatic Automation Solution

StreamSend, an email marketing service provider and creator of the enhanced social marketing tool suite StreamSend Share 2.0, has unveiled its new Automatic Automation approach to email marketing, designed to help businesses strengthen customer engagement.

"Automatic Automation is an area below big data marketing automation and above trigger marketing in terms of complexity and execution," Dan Forootan, president of StreamSend Email Marketing, says. "It is an area where businesses can easily leverage the marketing power of both email and social to create and sustain deeper, more profitable customer relationships using less time and resources."

With the Automatic Automation approach, a marketer writes an email message or social post, which is automatically posted to a share or pin board. The board then sends the message or post as email marketing, or can resend or reshare it based on targeting to drive additional rounds of views, clicks, or engagement.

Company research shows that this re-engagement produces 300 percent more views and clicks versus sharing or emailing only, StreamSend Email Marketing says. Furthermore, 1 percent of the visitors to the message and posting boards subscribe to follow the boards, and that rate increases with specific activity to promote engagement. With this technique, businesses can move people out of the social "walled garden" to become engaged customers and onto various lists for direct contact, according to a company statement.

StreamSend also offers Behavioral Targeting and Social Promotion Boost features, which can put messages, email marketing pieces, or postings in front of a tightly targeted segment.

According to a company statement, "The trick has been to reach these people with a method as effective as pay per click or less-targeted, high-volume email. Building engagement with resend and reshare is that method."

"There is a lower end 'automatic automation' segment to the whole marketing automation market, with huge profit potential for business marketers," Forootan adds. "We are proving that opportunity as we help clients produce more views and clicks with email marketing powered by automatic automation techniques such as posting, triggers, and alert/resend features. Done right, it is a quick, simple route to advanced customer engagement and a major payoff for businesses."
