Siebel Systems has joined forces with
Accenture, Microsoft, and
Proscape Technologies to deliver new pharmaceutical marketing capabilities that can allow for sales representatives to provide better-targeted information during physician sales calls. Now available, this solution enables pharmaceutical sales representatives to automatically capture physician information during sales meetings. As a result, representatives can spend more time in the field serving physicians, rather than in the office recording and analyzing meeting results, according to Siebel.
Salesforce.com announced this week that its sforce application platform now integrates with Microsoft's Visual Basic Tools for Microsoft Office System. Through this integration Salesforce.com says users can now utilize the data in their Salesforce.com applications within their desktop and smart client applications.
OneSource Information Services, a provider of business information solutions, announced that it has released its CatalystSM/Account Intelligence Module for Word 2003, the Catalyst/Financial Analysis Module for Excel 2003, and support for the Research Pane within Office 2003. These solutions have been designed to deliver data from the OneSource Enhanced Information Warehouse repository, including company profiles, analyst reports, executive details, news and financial information, directly into Microsoft Office.
NetSuite (formerly NetLedger) Tuesday announced that its hosted-CRM suite is now available in Australia. NetSuite says the solution has been completely localized for Australia, from language conversion to complex statutory requirements, including industry-specific tax codes.
Epicor Software has added mobile CRM capabilities to its Vantage manufacturing solution. Epicor says the mobile capabilities offer the same CRM functionality as the traditional version, and can help sales agents deliver comprehensive, quality service to customers, shorten sales cycle times, and generate more revenues while on the move.
IAnywhere Solutions, a subsidiary of Sybase, has upgraded its Mobile Sales solution, which provides sales professionals with quick, easy access to an enterprise's CRM solution from any location, at any time. New features include workflow configuration capabilities to simplify navigation, and key performance indicators that enable businesses to measure the usage and effectiveness of their mobile deployments.
Allureware has entered the CRM arena with the launch of Marketing Passport 4.0. The new CRM functionality of Marketing Passport 4.0 includes account, lead and opportunity management, forecasting and email marketing, all aimed at better linking marketing automation with the sales pipeline.
