Algolia Adds AI to Search and Discovery

Algolia, a search and discovery solutions provider, today launched Algolia AI, a suite of artificial intelligence tools to help businesses create personalized digital experiences.

Algolia AI introduces the full power of AI to Search and Discovery, with new capabilities that include the following:

  • Algolia Answers, which combines Algolia's tunable relevance with AI-driven natural language and real-world understanding built on top of technology from Algolia and OpenAI;
  • Algolia Understand, which detects the actions consumers want to take and the items they seek through natural language understanding of numbers and named entities to move consumers from search to conversion without needing to refine or update search requests;
  • Dynamic Synonym Suggestions, which analyzes search patterns and recommends new synonyms that will deliver better results;
  • Dynamic Re-Ranking, which analyzes consumer actions on websites and mobile apps to boost the highest-performing results for each query; and
  • Personalization, which analyzes consumers' actions, including purchases, additions to carts and wishlists, and page and video views, to build and activate dynamic user profiles.
