Nimble Powers Intelligent Social CRM Interactions

Nimble, a developer of business relationship software, has launched the latest version of its social contact building solution, Nimble 3.0.

"I think we all struggle with [managing] our contacts and communication, and we've built a relationship dashboard that makes it easy," comments Jon Ferrara, founder and CEO of Nimble. "If you're a business professional, you're regularly sharing content and engaging people who 'plus one,' retweet, or otherwise connect with that content."

One of the hallmarks of Nimble 3.0 is the ability of the system to connect individuals' everyday communication in email, calendars, and social networks to suggest and recommend connections based on past interactions.

New to the system is the Nimble Today Screen, which streamlines all of a user's engagement opportunities and provides a to-do list and notifications and alerts about contact birthdays and job changes. "Now, with the Nimble Today page, we are surfacing people who are interesting and important, and we are surfacing engagement opportunities and automatic reminders of when you last contacted someone and when you should be following up," Ferrara adds.

Also new to Nimble 3.0 is a feature called Signal Screens, which combines signals such as likes, shares, and invitations to connect via social networks Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Nimble has added a smart filter, which allows users to tap in to conversations and connections that are most important to them.

Nimble has introduced search improvements, which power a search-by-keyword based on the social self descriptions users set in their biographies. Someone using Nimble can, hypothetically, match email contacts' social profiles, automatically log conversations that are occurring, receive alerts for last point of contact, and perform searches around, for instance, "a regular customer who hasn't purchased in the last six months and then reach out and begin contacting them," Ferrara notes.

Nimble 3.0 is generally available today to all current customers; 14-day free trials are available and business accounts are $15 per user per month.
