Nimble Delivers Social Relationship Management to Microsoft Office 365

Nimble, a provider of social relationship management, yesterday announced an integration with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook 2013. The new Nimble App for Outlook will allow Office and Outlook users to benefit from Nimble's full and detailed view of any contact directly from their email messages.

SMBs can now access the Nimble Contact Record within Outlook. The integration enables users to comprehensively profile contacts in or even outside of their various networks, to inform engagement, and help grow relationships in an authentic and meaningful way.

With this integration, Outlook users can perform relationship management from within email, including the following:

  • Automatic message history logging, including team email and social messages;
  • Social profile matching to create rich contact details;
  • Social streams for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google+;
  • Last contacted (by me or team), mark as important, stay in touch reminders;
  • Manage deals, activities, tasks, notes, and reminders and create new ones; and
  • Import contacts into Nimble from email messages.

Nimble's Social Relationship Manager, priced at $15 per user per month, automatically pulls in information about contacts without tedious data entry. The resulting contact records are rich in detail and context mapping, contain all previous communications history, activities and tasks, as well as incorporate the social profiles and streams of each contact, giving users immediate, relevant insights about contacts.

"We're pleased to see Nimble in the Office Store because they clearly have an understanding of the needs of small businesses across the world," said Dene Cleaver, senior product manager for the Office and SharePoint Store at Microsoft, in a statement. "There's no doubt that providing contextual information about contacts helps business relationships flourish and that connecting that capability to Microsoft Office within Outlook is a logical step, making Nimble a welcome addition to the Office Store."

"We are all inundated by too many email messages from people we don't know," said Jon Ferrara, CEO of Nimble, in a statement. "By putting Nimble's powerful social contact insight capabilities right into Office and Outlook emails, you're no longer flying blind. You've got all the information you need to interact meaningfully to build, deepen and nurture your powerful relationships."
