NEW PRODUCTS GOT and
Salesforce.com today announced Campaigner for Salesforce as part of the official Summer '05 launch. Integrated with Salesforce via the Sforce on-demand platform, Campaigner for Salesforce is an email marketing application that has been integrated into the Salesforce interface, according to the companies. It allows users to track large volume email marketing initiatives, and to create and send email marketing messages and outbound communications directly from the Salesforce interface. All email response metrics are automatically tracked by Campaigner. Research and Markets has announced the addition of Canada 2005--Canadian Business Database. Canada 2005 includes 905,000 companies in 500 classifications, unlimited exporting capabilities, addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers, along with search and sorting capabilities. The Canadian Business Database Edition 2005 is a stand-alone PC application to allow business owners and marketing and sales teams to sort, search, print, and export target business lists. Business Objects and Ipedo have released a new XBRL BI solution to enable organizations to access financial information to improve financial analysis. The new solution will leverage the capabilities of BusinessObjects XI with EDGAR Online's I-Metrix suite of XBRL-based products, and Ipedo XIP, an enterprise information integration platform. IN THE NEWS Conversagent and InstantService have partnered to integrate Conversagent's patent-pending escalation feature with InstantService's live chat solution. The live chat feature will enable users who require assistance beyond the support provided by the Automated Service Agent to transition to a human agent. ON THE MOVE Deltek Systems has named Kevin Parker the company's new CEO. Parker was appointed senior vice president and CFO of PeopleSoft in 2000. In 2004, he operated as both copresident and CFO of PeopleSoft until the company's acquisition by Oracle later that year. Marketing Management Analytics (MMA) has added three new senior-level positions. Patricia Gavin has been named vice president of business development.
