Hearsay Social Unveils Corporate-to-Local Management Tools for Google+ Pages

Hearsay Social, a San Francisco-based social media management platform for brands, has added Hearsay Social for Google+ Pages to its social platform in a partnership with Google. Clients can now publish, manage, and protect campaigns on their Google+ Pages, in addition to their accounts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

The release coincides with the launch of the Google+ Pages application programming interface.

"We are thrilled to be a launch partner of Google+ Pages for brands," said Clara Shih, CEO and co-founder of Hearsay Social and a former Google employee, in a statement. "Our vision has always been to protect and empower brands wherever their employees and customers are having social brand conversations. Today’s announcement is an important part of our ongoing commitment to deliver the forefront of innovation to our customers."

Founded by Shih and Steve Garrity, the company's chief technology officer, Hearsay Social offers tools to let corporations monitor what their employees do on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and now Google+, as well as train employees on sending out brand messages at a local level.

By extending its services to supporting Google+ Pages, Hearsay Social lets clients schedule posts and campaigns across its brand and local pages, tailor messages to deepen local customer relationships, apply Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Securities and Exchange Commission compliance monitoring to employee usage, and use Hearsay Social Analytics to analyze metrics across every page.

The company is also launching content targeting for Google+ Circles. For the first time, marketers can schedule and post campaigns targeting specific audience segments that they have categorized into custom-defined Circles, such as influencers, loyal customers, at-risk customers, or even company employees and job candidates.

"Google+ Circles provides an easy way for brands to group their customers into specific segments, which we're very excited about" Garrity says. "We've added lots of tools to help our clients decide how to categorize their customers, as well as see how their messages resonate with the different circles. We're happy to say that Google+ is now a supported network that our customers can operate on safely without wasting their time."
