ClickSoftware Upgrades ServiceOptimization Suite
ClickSoftware's latest upgrade to its Workforce Management Platform includes a host of mobile solutions designed to improve business workflows, including field sales and collaboration.
According to Moshe BenBassat, chairman and CEO of ClickSoftware, one issue for the enterprise is that "employees today use individual, unconnected apps in order to bridge the gap between consumer apps and enterprise systems."
The ServiceOptimization Suite 8.1.6 promises richer functionalities for improved business processes and productivity, featuring mobile apps that are compatible with most tablets and mobile devices.
Suite enhancements include:
- new Web-client interface for ClickAnalyze, which features on-the-fly data manipulation capabilities;
- intelligent predicting capabilities for task duration to help service businesses more accurately create and execute schedules and tasks; and
- mobile business apps, which allow users to build, configure and update timesheets, navigation, location, and business workflow and manage appointments.
As an automated workforce management solutions provider, a large portion of ClickSoftware business stems from field service companies like home care providers, utilities, computer and office equipment companies. and public safety and security professionals. Details as minute as programming GPS directions along with a customer work order or address are vital to the service worker while on the road, BenBassat said.
In its latest earnings report, ClickSoftware attributed positive growth to the enterprise mobility market, and announced it will continue to enhance its SaaS offering and introduce mobile apps to match cloud market demand.
