ActiveCampaign Unveils New Marketing Automation Feature
ActiveCampaign, a provider of email marketing and marketing automation solutions, has released a completely redesigned suite of its automation options. In addition to improvements to existing functionalities, the company has introduced a new set of tools created specifically for small businesses.
"We set out to level the playing field of email marketing. ActiveCampaign's new features bring all the power and functionality of an 'enterprise level' marketing automation system to small businesses, many of which have simply been priced out. Our entry-level plans are free, and there are never any start-up costs, hidden fees, or contracts to sign," company CEO Jason VandeBoom says.
Among the innovations, ActiveCampaign has introduced visual work flow, which allows users to see the automation sequence they are creating in real time. The company has also unveiled a "wait until" option, which delays further actions until a specific event is registered, such as filling out a form or clicking a particular link, and conditional branching, which allows marketers to split the automation series into different branches based upon contacts matching certain conditions.
"Our marketing platform helps over 100,000 small businesses connect with customers every day, even home-based sole proprietors. Business owners are able to learn more about their contacts (age, gender, interests, social profiles, etc.), design beautiful email campaigns, and now utilize marketing automation tools with no cost to get started," VandeBoom adds.
These new automation features are just the tip of the iceberg of what ActiveCampaign has planned, according to a company statement. The company plans to unveil additional automation and marketing tools before the end of Q3 in 2013, VandeBoom says.
