Experian Launches Email Deliverability Audit Service

Experian Data Quality, a part of Experian Marketing Services, has launched a deliverability audit service that leverages a team of compliance and deliverability experts to provide a comprehensive analysis of email marketing programs and practices to identify tactics and/or products and services to increase inbox deliverability and revenue potential.

According to a recent Experian Data Quality study, 66 percent of companies have experienced email deliverability issues in the past 12 months. Experian Data Quality's deliverability audit provides a comprehensive analysis of a client's deliverability health and a review of long- and short-term deliverability recommendations. Working with deliverability experts, marketers can ensure they are using best practices to allow more messages to reach subscribers.

"Email is the top communication channel for marketers as they look to drive consumer engagement and, ultimately, revenue," said Thomas Schutz, senior vice president and general manager at Experian Data Quality, in a statement. "For this channel to be effective, messages must reach the intended consumers. With an average of 32 percent of revenue attributed to email marketing efforts, deliverability best practices truly do impact the bottom line."

"Email deliverability has many complex factors that come into play, and so often marketers today struggle with delivering email messages," said Spencer Kollas, global director of deliverability services atExperian Marketing Services, in a statement. "To curb this trend, marketers need to gather insights on what internet service providers likely are doing with messages and how different practices are affecting subscriber behavior."
