Clarabridge Launches Visual Listening Through Partnership with Ditto Labs

Clarabridge is partnering with Ditto Labs, a provider of image recognition, to bring visual listening capabilities to the Clarabridge CEM Analytics and Engagor social customer service solutions, allowing companies to identify and understand brands, products, scenes, and emotions in photos from social networks, even in the absence of any text.

Every day, more than 1.8 billion photos are shared on social networks. Ditto's proprietary computer vision and machine learning technology automatically tags the brands, products, objects and environments appearing in these photos.

Through this new partnership, Clarabridge and Engagor customers can do the following:

  • Identify, filter, and route brand photo mentions;
  • Extend social listening beyond keywords to analyze photos and associated comments for brand insights through Clarabridge’s text and sentiment analytics.
  • Uncover and detect real-time insights about customers and their product usage from organic and original user-generated content.

"Photo sharing on social media is the fastest-growing feedback channel," said Nithi Vivatrat, chief product officer at Clarabridge, in a statement. "Through our partnership with Ditto, Clarabridge customers can now capture the most holistic and nuanced set of insights about customers' experiences."
