Act-On Launches Act-On for Microsoft Solutions

Act-On Software, a provider of marketing automation, today released its latest product bundle designed to complement Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power BI, and Microsoft Outlook.

"As marketing's role in the customer experience continues to evolve, it's critical that CMOs invest in technologies that can enrich and optimize the buyer's journey," said Chad Collett, director of marketing at Ledgeview Partners, in a statement. "We have seen great synergy and business upside partnering with Act-On; not only have we been able to add tremendous value to our existing clients using Dynamics CRM, but we have also grown our own revenues as a result."

Act-On users can run many types of marketing programs, including inbound, outbound, account-based, and social. When Act-On is integrated with Dynamics CRM, users can report on funnel velocity and revenue attribution and dive deeper into campaign performance.

Act-On has tailor made applications for Microsoft Solutions, including the following:

  • A prebuilt, native integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM to enable closed-loop, account-based marketing (ABM) and reporting, and to orchestrate multichannel engagements across the customer lifecycle. The integration helps sales personalize outreach and prioritize opportunities based on behaviors and interests.
  • Act-On Data Studio integrates with Power BI and lets users push engagement data into the BI tool to visualize sales and marketing data  and ultimately provide real-time insights that the business can act on for increasingly intelligent customer engagements.
  • Act-On Anywhere integrates with Microsoft Outlook to help sales and support optimize interactions with customers. The integration lets users access Act-On email templates within the mail app, opt-in communications for tracking, and receive alerts when prospects or customers interact with the email.

Act-On's technology alliance with Microsoft enables it to provision joint customers to Azure. where they can benefit from speed, security, and scalability, by having their data reside closer to their Microsoft infrastructure.

"Act-On for Microsoft is part of our ongoing commitment to the Microsoft ecosystem," said Andy MacMillan, CEO of Act-On Software, in a statement. "When Act-On is integrated with Dynamics CRM, the benefit becomes greater than the sum of its parts. We see the future of marketing and sales engagement fueled by these two technologies - empowering companies to market better, sell smarter, and service faster across the customer lifecycle."
