Agile CRM Announces Google Chrome Extension

Agile CRM, providers of a subscription-based SaaS product that went into open beta in March, has released an extension for the Google Chrome Web browser. After installing the extension, users can take advantage of enterprise-level sales and marketing features while browsing the Web or accessing their Web mail with the Chrome browser.

The free plug-in offers a range of in-browser features, including email templates, email and link tracking, social media contact fetching, contact, task and deal management, and real-time notifications. Users can push contact info into Agile from Facebook and LinkedIn, send and track email, manage sales and marketing pipelines, and find information about current contacts in the CRM, all while browsing the Web. Changes made to contacts, tasks, and deals using Agile's Chrome extension automatically sync with the CRM.

"Agile's users have come to rely on our seamlessly integrated sales and marketing suite," says Agile CRM founder Manohar Chapalamadugu, in a statement. "Our new Chrome extension continues this approach, saving users time and money and helping them scale the smart way."

Agile in April announced an integration with Google Apps, and in June announced a plug-in for Shopify.
