Batchbook Social CRM Releases an App for HootSuite

Batchbook today announced its social CRM software is now integrated with HootSuite, makers of the social media management system.

The Batchbook application is available in the HootSuite App Directory, a collection of tools and applications that HootSuite users can add to their dashboards. Users can hover over a contact's HootSuite avatar and then click on "Batchbook profile" to see and edit contact details, recent communications, and outstanding To-Dos already saved in Batchbook. Similarly, new contacts can be added into Batchbook directly from the HootSuite dashboard. Users can also save tweets or Facebook posts into their Batchbook accounts as communication records.

By integrating their Batchbook customer database with HootSuite, users can do the following:

  •     See a relationship history with someone by looking at Batchbook contact details right in the HootSuite dashboard;
  •     Perform follow-ups by looking at the back story for a contact, including open tasks and past communications;
  •     Save social posts and contact details to Batchbook right from HootSuite; and
  •     Take note of most engaged social contacts and mark them as Champions in Batchbook.

"Important conversations can happen anywhere, and our new app gives small businesses and professionals the power to capture those exchanges and record them in Batchbook for future reference," said Pamela O'Hara, CEO and co-founder of Batchbook, in a statement. "HootSuite's users send more than 3 million messages through the dashboard each day. Those social posts and conversations, as well as emails, phone calls, notes and meetings are all critical data to save in your small business CRM. Giving business teams a full picture of the communications history will help them better tailor their outreach to customers, partners, suppliers, Champions and fans, engagement that builds a business."
