Talisma Names New CEO

Talisma Corporation, which provides business solutions for the customer service and support industry, announced that Dan Vetras has been appointed president and CEO, succeeding founder and current CEO Pradeep Singh, who remains as chairman of the board. Vetras is a 21-year veteran of the technology industry whose background includes senior management positions in technology, sales management, and business development. Prior to joining Talisma Vetras served as president and CEO of Captura Software. At Captura he was responsible for the expense management software company's overall strategic direction and operation, and led the executive team, consisting of product development, professional services, sales, marketing, finance, operations, and international business. "I'm please to be taking on the CEO role for Talisma at this point in the company's history," Vetras says. "Talisma is uniquely positioned to take the market for customer service management solutions to the next level, and set new standards for customer service. This applies not only to our customers, but to their customers as well." Talisma founder Pradeep Singh says of the appointment, "Dan's extensive background gives him excellent credentials to be Talisma's chief executive. His customer-driven philosophy and knowledge of the enterprise software industry will enable Dan to provide the leadership needed to take Talisma forward." Singh will now concentrate on the technology and future vision for Talisma, according to the company.
