Bloomreach Launches Zero-Copy Data Activation

Bloomreach, a personalized customer engagement solutions provider, has released an external segments feature, bringing zero-copy activation to companies building an open, composable customer engagement stack on any data platform.

Bloomreach's new feature brings audiences built in any data warehouse, customer data platform, or reverse ETL tool into Bloomreach as ready-to-use segments. Loomi, Bloomreach's artificial intelligence for customer engagement, then turns those audiences into decisions for every customer interaction, activated across more than 17 channels, while sending engagement and outcome signals back to the companies' own platforms.

"Brands have spent years building their customer intelligence in their own data platform, and they shouldn't have to move it because their marketing vendor is getting absorbed into a closed system," said Raj De Datta, CEO and co-founder of Bloomreach, in a statement. "Bloomreach is open by design, built for a composable world. With zero-copy activation, the audiences and models that data teams have already built can be put to work without moving any data. From there, our AI, Loomi, gets to work, delivering intelligence at the edge of every customer interaction."

The external segments feature joins the following other new capabilities:

  • Native connectors to data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and Amazon Redshift.
  • Loomi's real-time learning and optimizing AI models use techniques such as reinforcement learning to optimize each offer, recommendation, and message. Delivery runs across more than 17 channels, with consent, frequency, and deliverability built in.
  • Engagement and outcome data, such as who responded, on which channel, at what time, and to which offer, flows back to companies' own data platforms. Data teams can measure real impact and train their own models on real results under their own governance.
  • Loomi Connect: Any agent or AI assistant, such as Databricks Genie, Claude, Codex, MS CoPilot, or Cursor) can call on Loomi over Model Context Protocol, Agent2Agent, or application programming interface.
