Liferay Launches Liferay Data Platform
Liferay, a provider of digital experience platforms (DXPs), today released Liferay Data Platform (LDP), giving B2B organizations a single, trusted view of account activity, drawn from CRM, marketing automation, account-based marketing (ABM), and behavioral data.
LDP combines customer and account data from sales, marketing, and digital experience systems into one trusted account view. It connects both known and anonymous activity to the right account, keeps track of the data's source, and uses customer-defined rules to resolve conflicts.
An Account Lifecycle Dashboard shows where every account sits across six stages, from aware through at-risk, using a Highest Watermark rule so account stages always reflect what its data genuinely supports. Marketers can configure stage triggers, and the dashboard surfaces accounts stalled for 90 or more in a stage alongside stage-to-stage conversion. Teams get a clear view of account progress.
Real-time segments evaluate behavior as it happens, qualifying accounts as soon as their activity matches defined criteria and expiring automatically once the relevant windows close. Within Liferay DXP, these segments can trigger personalized content. Marketing and sales teams can create and update segments themselves and use them to personalize experiences delivered through Liferay DXP.
"Manufacturers, distributors and other B2B organizations run their business on long-term account relationships. What they haven't had is one place that shows how those relationships are progressing," said Julia Molano, director of product management at Liferay, in a statement. "That can mean missing signs that an account needs attention or reaching out after buyer interest has already faded. LDP gives teams the visibility to get ahead of those moments, not just react to them."
