SurveyMonkey Launches ChatGPT Plugin

SurveyMonkey, providers of a platform for surveys and forms, today launched a ChatGPT plugin that lets teams bring real customer, employee, and market feedback directly into ChatGPT, allowing them to create surveys, analyze responses, and make decisions without leaving the conversation.

This plugin follows the launch of a Claude connector in May.

"Most teams are already using ChatGPT as a thought partner. They're writing briefs, analyzing data, and planning strategy," said Eric Johnson, CEO of SurveyMonkey, in a statement "But better decisions still require input from real people. We all need to listen to our customers and our employees. With the SurveyMonkey plugin in ChatGPT, teams can collect that feedback and use it without interrupting the way they already work."

With the SurveyMonkey plugin in ChatGPT, users can do the following:

  • Create, edit, and send surveys directly within ChatGPT using natural language.
  • Access and analyze survey data in real time, spotting trends and patterns across surveys without needing to export data.
  • Leverage past surveys and combine data with external sources to uncover deeper insights without starting from scratch.
  • Manage the entire survey process in one place, from creation to analysis, without leaving the chat interface.

The ChatGPT plugin is powered by Model Context Protocol (MCP), a secure standard that allows ChatGPT to access and interact with SurveyMonkey data. It is available via the ChatGPT Plugin Directory.
