Boomi Expands FedRAMP Authorization to Include Workflow Automation

Boomi, an intelligent connectivity and automation provider, has earned Federal Risk Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorization for Flow, its low-code workflow automation service.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) issued the three-year authorization to operate to Flow as a part of the Boomi AtomSphere Platform. With Flow, agencies can connect data across systems and databases, replace manual processes, build applications, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Federal agencies can now access Flow as a part of the Boomi AtomSphere Platform on the FedRAMP Marketplace, the central online portal of approved cloud service offerings available for federal government use.

"Government leaders are balancing challenges with legacy technology, IT staffing, modernization, and more while navigating complex cloud technologies," said Neil Kole, chief information officer of Boomi, in a statement. "As they continue to embrace cloud solutions, their networks need to be secure, compatible, and cost-effective. We are among only a select group of companies in the world to have achieved this robust compliance standard. Now with Boomi Flow earning FedRAMP authorization, we demonstrate our continued commitment to supporting our federal agency partners like the USAID and Veterans Affairs (VA) as they achieve mission success at home and abroad."

Flow joins other Boomi platform services, including API Management, Integration, and Master Data Hub, that have been FedRAMP authorized since 2019.
