Hybris Partners with Google Analytics

Hybris Software, an SAP company, has partnered with Google to make Google Analytics available on hybris Extend, an online integration marketplace of applications, extensions and network services developed by hybris partners and optimized to work with the hybris Commerce Suite. This new solution allows hybris customers to integrate Google Analytics into their storefront for improved tag management and analytics.

"We are pleased to establish this integration with hybris, extending Google's reporting capabilities to hybris' extensive customer base of leading global brands," said Caleb Whitmore, founder and chairman of Analytics Pros, developer of the integration and a Google Analytics certified partner and premium reseller, in a statement. "This integration enables hybris customers to configure Google Analytics in their existing environment, eliminating the additional manual steps typically required to build an advanced reporting system."

The Google Analytics hybris Connector enables brands to do the following

  • Use Google Tag Manager to create and update tags for Web sites and mobile apps;
  • Gain vital insights on customer activity, including conversion funnel metrics and time spent on Web pages;
  • Create simplified reports that map the customer journey; and
  • Upgrade to Google Analytics Premium, which offers additional features, such as advanced attribution, real-time reporting, and integration with the Google Display Network.

"Analytics are critical for brands to better understand audiences to improve the customer experience," said Patrick Finn, senior vice president of global channel and partnerships at hybris and SAP Customer Engagement and Commerce, in a statement. "Because so many hybris customers already rely on Google for its analytics capabilities, partnering with Google was a logical next step as we continue to offer customers an open partner network with best-of-breed solutions."
