Stibo Systems Joins IBM Ready for Smarter Commerce Program

Stibo Systems, a provider of multidomain master data management (MDM) solutions, has joined the IBM Ready for Smarter Commerce program. As part of IBM's Smarter Commerce ecosystem of partners, Stibo Systems has seamlessly integrated STEP, its MDM solution, with IBM WebSphere Commerce software. This allows retailers to create an e-commerce platform that engages consumers with the information they need whenever and wherever they want to make a purchase.

By combining Stibo Systems' STEP with IBM WebSphere Commerce, retailers can achieve accurate product and customer information and use it to feed a variety of destinations, including Web sites, print catalogs, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

IBM WebSphere Commerce software is a customer interaction platform that drives cross-channel commerce across all touchpoints, including mobile, social, and in-store. Through a single powerful platform, WebSphere Commerce provides a differentiated commerce experience across all of a company's business models to drive better customer engagement and increased sales.

BlueLinx, a distributor of building products in North America,  is using Stibo Systems' MDM solution with the IBM WebSphere Commerce platform to align its e-commerce sites with all other areas of the business to create a personalized, consistent shopping experience across all devices and touchpoints.
