Radware's FireProof Supports Microsoft's ISA

Radware Ltd., a provider of intelligent traffic management solutions for dynamic networks, unveiled its FireProof security product line offering complete interoperability with Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 and providing real-time load balancing, high availability and clustering for ISA Servers.

FireProof will provide full fault tolerance and optimization between multiple firewalls and allows a company to scale up to 100 active devices, the company says. Part of .Net platform and targeted at companies that want to Internet-enable their businesses and let developers build products for next-generation Web services, Microsoft ISA Server builds on Windows 2000 security and directory for policy-based security, acceleration, and management of internetworking.

The partnership between Radware and Microsoft gives enterprise network and system administrators the ability to manage multiple ISA Servers on a local or global basis, while providing fault tolerance from software and hardware failures, both companies say. Also, it allows servers to be inserted or removed for maintenance and updates without end-user performance degradation, say company executives.

"This new business relationship is a win-win-win. Radware, Microsoft, and enterprise customers will benefit from this interoperability," said Nevet Basker, director of business development for ISA Server at Microsoft in a prepated statement. "With Radware's FireProof, businesses can use Radware's load-balancing solutions with ISA Server for scalable, reliable and secure business-to-business internetworking."
