Putting Its Money Where Its Mouth Is

Many vendors make promises that their CRM products will pay for themselves. They offer quick ROI, low TCO, etc. But one company, ePartners, has announced a 100 percent money-back guarantee on its enhanced version of Microsoft CRM. "We have been Microsoft partners for over 10 years," says Dan Duffy, president of ePartners. "And we are very familiar with their technology and what it takes to make a successful CRM launch. We have certainly paid the price in learning the best ways to deploy CRM technology." Duffy says the company guarantees it will have customers up and running to their satisfaction in 60 days--fully installed, fully trained. Though the company is offering a money-back guarantee, Duffy says he is aware of MS CRM's current limitations. "We saw the product coming to market, and know just what it is and is not," Duffy says. "But we have a lot of CRM experience, and have tried to get ahead of Microsoft and add some extra services and support to make it work even better. "Is MS CRM an enterprise level ERP tool? No, but that is not what Microsoft intended it to be," he says. "It is a powerful tool for mid-market businesses, and we are willing to put our money where our mouth is to show that the product really can work as intended, for all types of business processes." In addition to the basic guarantee, Duffy says ePartners is offering a premium package that includes additional software licenses, customized reporting, SharePoint Web parts for displaying critical MS CRM data to the executive desktop, extended training, and priority remote technical support.
