Pragmatech, Mimeo Team Up
Pragmatech Software is teaming up with Mimeo to bring sales proposals from pixels to paper in one fell swoop.
Pragmatech, an Amherst, NH-based provider of Web-based sales effectiveness software solutions, enables organizations to streamline the entire document creation process with its RFP response, proposal automation, and presentation generation solutions. Mimeo, based in New York, converts electronic files to hard copies, binds the documents, and distributes them via Federal Express.
"The synergy between Pragmatech and Mimeo's products provides a superior offering for end-to-end document production. This partnership facilitates a critical moment in the document life cycle - where electronic document creation meets the physical world. It enables control of the entire document generation process, from the desktop to the printed and delivered document," says Brooke Savage, Pragmatech co-founder and chief executive.
The Pragmatech software enables sales and marketing professionals to create proposals
and responses to sales and marketing requests, but has traditionally left the final step - printing and delivery - to the resources available to the document creator. Its Sales Effectiveness Software Suite, which includes The RFP Machine and The Proposal Assembler, simplifies the process of creating business proposals and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) for sales and marketing professionals.
The Mimeo service, however, enables Pragmatech users to carry their professional document quality all the way through printing, binding, and delivery - without ever leaving the desktop.
"Sales and marketing professionals are among Mimeo's most avid customers," said John Lyons, chief executive of Mimeo in a statement. "We believe many of our customers will find Pragmatech's software a key element in developing winning sales proposals. At the same time, we are certain that Pragmatech customers who use Mimeo's document services for printing, binding, and delivering their sales proposals will benefit from improved document quality and reduced costs."
