PeopleSoft has unveiled a new portfolio of application hosting and management services for PeopleSoft Enterprise, PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne, and PeopleSoft World customers. The hosting platform comes in three versions: Value, which supports up to 100 users; Enhanced, which can host PeopleSoft applications for up to 300 users; and Ultimate, which the company claims can handle application hosting for the largest of enterprises. PeopleSoft also announced its Remote Hosting program, which allows companies to deploy PeopleSoft applications on site, while PeopleSoft provides application maintenance support like applying patches, proactive performance tuning, and database administration.
Salesnet announced this week that it has begun rolling out a private-label CRM program, and announced its first OEM agreement with Encoda systems. The private-label edition of Salesnet can be deployed by a partner and bundled into its own offering, according to the company. Salesnet is specifically targeting vertical markets that have not been highly penetrated by CRM vendors, but that do have incumbent technology providers that have the domain expertise and the bandwidth to add CRM to their offering. Through the Encoda partnership Salesnet's private-label online CRM application has been integrated into Encoda's MediaExec CRM software system and will be marketed to 137,000 sales professionals in Encoda's existing worldwide customer base.
FrontRange Solutions has released HEAT Service & Support 8.0. The new version of the service management solution provides customers with a business activity view of service and support, and features significant enhancements like an updated user interface and new, improved service-level and change-management capabilities. HEAT also offers customers a choice of deployment with client/server, thin-client and/or Web-based solutions, according to FrontRange.
MicroStrategy has released its Report Services tool, which simplifies the creation and execution of enterprise reporting. With this new reporting tool, all users can receive any type of enterprise report--from Web-based scorecards with performance indicators to multi-page printed operational reports sectioned across multiple dimensions, the company says.
CentrPort announced the release of the CentrPort E-Business Marketing Platform version 4.0, the latest version of its real-time dialogue-marketing platform. This release focuses on bolstering the platform's ability to transform existing mass marketing systems into a coordinated one-to-one marketing channel. According to CentrPort, the enhancements to the real-time recommendation-engine's planning application and upgrades to the analytical CRM suite help provide marketers with advanced customer insight and one-to-one messaging capabilities.
Visualware has introduced its Desktop Management Suite, a solution set that helps enterprises to gain control of their Internet application service delivery and maximize application availability to their customers and end-users. The suite of products comprise an end-to-end performance management solution through automated monitoring of actual service delivery to customers and the diagnostic tools to proactively identify and resolve a problem, regardless of whether the bottleneck is occurring at the customer desktop, at an ISP, or at the application server itself.
