Best Software this week announced enhancements to DynaLink for SalesLogix, an out-of-the-box integration tool that helps small and medium-size organizations link front- and back-office applications. DynaLink enables SalesLogix to integrate with Best Software products MAS 90 and 200, MAS 500 and Platinum for Windows by Best, as well as with Great Plains (version 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0). In addition, with minor customization the product also supports the most popular accounting products on the market today, according to the company. FrontRange Solutions announced the availability of HEAT Plus Knowledge 8.0 and HEAT Asset Tracker 8.0. HEAT Plus Knowledge 8.0 enables service and support centers to leverage existing information from diverse business units across an organization, aiding in speed-to-resolution; HEAT Asset Tracker 8.0 helps reduce the complexity of asset management and helps organizations manage company assets with precision, the company says.
Witness Systems has announced extended enterprisewide archiving capabilities to support compliance recording requirements in a variety of vertical industries. The company says healthcare, financial services, and outsourcing companies can now better leverage its eQuality customer interaction recording solutions for compliance purposes due to enhanced archiving capabilities. NuEdge Systems, a provider of marketing automation solutions, has introduced NuEdge Suite 3.0. This major upgrade expands the solution's marketing analytics and campaign management capabilities aimed at the financial services, retail, and catalog verticals. The new version touts fast and efficient data-mart builds from unlimited sources of customer information, faster query speeds, improved predictive modeling technology, and easy-to-use analytical templates. RightNow Technologies and LiquidMatrix, a provider of technology and services to the higher education market, have forged a partnership to provide best-of-breed customer service solutions and best practices to universities and colleges. The companies say their offering will address how best to utilize both offline and online service channels to meet higher education institutions' key business objectives--student recruitment and retention, the quality of student services, and alumni relations. Enterprise Logix, a provider of integrated, enterprise class-software solutions for midmarket manufacturers and service providers, introduced Logix Enterprise, its newest industry solution. Logix Enterprise combines the inventory, manufacturing, and customer management tools of Logix with a complete financial solution for general ledger, payables, and receivables, according to the company.
