MailChimp Announces Integration with Customer Analytics Platform

MailChimp has announced an integration with KISSmetrics, a customer analytics platform.

KISSmetrics users can now incorporate the email they send from MailChimp into KISSmetrics' comprehensive tracking interface. Businesses can see when each of their customers receives, opens, and clicks on a link from within their KISSmetrics account, and how those email interactions impact a user's experience in the context of other metrics.

KISSmetrics tracks a wealth of data across web, social, email, mobile, and offline channels. It allows a business to view an individual customer's interaction, or to pull back and focus on the aggregate customer experience. Using this information, businesses can then optimize their offering to improve the way customers interact with their service and increase conversion rates.

Adding this integration lets a business leverage MailChimp's wealth of email marketing features and services, such as attractive, responsive mobile email templates or advanced list segmentation, within the structure of an overall marketing plan. Businesses can then easily sync the stats from their MailChimp email campaigns into KISSmetrics to track email alongside other metrics.
