Industry-Specific CRM Solutions Remain the Go-to Choice for Some Businesses
It's been an active week for vertical-focused CRM solutions, as indicated by releases from two industry-specific service suppliers. In the automotive sphere, AutoStar Solutions, a company that provides management software to independent auto sales reps, has integrated its Fusion dealer management system (DMS) with DealerSocket CRM, a CRM provider for automotive sales professionals, to improve dealers' daily operations. Meanwhile, in the health insurance sphere, Total Lead Domination (TLD) Tuesday released an email marketing module to take some of the pressure off heavily trafficked call centers.
With their integration, AutoStar Fusion and DealerSocket aim to reduce the time automobile salespeople spend entering data into their CRM systems, while giving them protected access to details about their customers, vehicle parts and inventory, and sales history. "Prior to this partnership, the only way to share information between our Fusion DMS and DealerSocket's CRM [system] was [by] manually re-entering the data," AutoStar CEO Allen Dobbins said in a statement.
The integration of Fusion into DealearSocket enables dealers to refresh and update their CRM systems from their mobile devices while they're out on the lot closing deals. "More than 92 percent of our customers already access DealerSocket CRM with a tablet or smartphone," Peter Ord, national sales director at DealerSocket, said in a statement. "The integration will expedite the sales process and get the customer driving off in his or her new vehicle faster than ever."
TLD's email marketing module similarly takes into consideration data entered into the CRM system to make salespeople more efficient. The technology looks at renewal days, payments, and other relevant recordings to estimate when to send out emails, the goal being to lighten the burden placed on those who must send out thousands of marketing-related emails a day. The company suggests that the system, at $79 a month, should serve as competition to more expensive solutions, such as Constant Contact and MailChimp. It will also allow customers to create their own templates, and has a power dialer which integrates with Genesys and Five9.
For both of these CRM providers, staying focused on a niche area is key. Total Lead Domination prides itself on being browser based, with a major benefit is that its users do not need an on-site IT administrator to manage it. DealerSocket was recently named the Highest-Rated Sales CRM by the National Automobile Dealers Association.
