Goldmine Adds Links to Outlook
FrontRange Solutions Inc., today released an updated version of its GoldMine Sales & Marketing contact manager that offers improved integration and data sharing with other leading products, a new look and feel, and one button synchronization.
Michael Parrinella, GoldMine product marketing manager says the update is trying to solve two problems - integration and easy deployment.
"We need to be able to integrate with different email and accounting programs, along with other marketing and sales tools, as well as other CRM applications," he says. "In addition, we serve the mid-market and we want customers to have an out of the box experience and not need consultants to use our products."
By integrating with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Outlook and Intuit QuickBooks Premier/Pro 2002, the latest release of GoldMine Sales & Marketing helps move the mainstream marketing and sales processes from campaign design, execution and tracking, to lead qualification, sales forecasting and cross selling, claims Parrinella.
Tighter ties with Microsoft Outlook, means that GoldMine Sales & Marketing 2002 users will be able to link every email message to the customer contact regardless of whether the mail was received in Outlook or GoldMine software's own E-mail Center, he says.
And it works the other way as well. When sending messages from Outlook, users can also send messages to any GoldMine Sales & Marketing contact and have the mail automatically linked to the contact's history in GoldMine. In addition, the closer ties with Exchange, allows Goldmine Sales & Marketing to support for real-time calendar and contact synchronization with the Exchange server.
The product also includes enhanced integration with GoldMine Plus Accounting for QuickBooks Premier/Pro 2002, which enables data sharing between front-and back-office customer records. Full Integration with FrontRange's HEAT Service & Support product gives users a single customer view.
An updated user interface includes redesigned toolbar icons, customizable work area background settings, and onscreen indicators. One-button Synchronization simplifies synchronization for remote users.
Pricing for GoldMine Sales & Marketing 2002 is $495 per seat. The GoldMine Plus Accounting for Use with QuickBooks is $99 per seat. Both are available immediately.
