Wix Integrates ShoutOut with Facebook Advertising

Wix.com, providers of a Web development platform, has integrated its newsletter and promotional product, Wix ShoutOut, withFacebook Ads, allowing Wix users to launch Facebook campaigns from the Wix platform.

A key product within the Wix platform, Wix ShoutOut enables users to create, send, and share professional newsletters and updates. Users can customize ready-made styles with their own texts, image,s and video or use content available in the Wix platform's free media library.

The goal of the new collaboration with Facebook is to allow users to maximize their reach by creating and launching Facebook advertising campaigns. The new integration automatically creates Facebook Page-post ads from the content and images of the user's ShoutOut. The campaign's target audience is automatically set using Facebook's Lookalike targeting, helping users reach an audience that's similar to people who have liked their Facebook pages. Users then can customize the ad, configure the campaign targeting, and set its budget, all from within the Wix ShoutOut dashboard. Upon launching a new Facebook advertising campaign, users monitor and manage their campaigns from the Facebook interface.

"The Wix ShoutOut integration with Facebook's advertising platform and its unparalleled reach provides our users an effective cross-channel marketing tool and a simplified gateway into a massive new audience," said Wix's chief marketing officer, Omer Shai, in a statement. "Millions of people are using Wix ShoutOut to create and share beautiful content. Now they'll have the option to make their valuable content work for them multiple times and promote their business even further."

"Wix and Facebook are both seeking to make marketing simpler and more efficient for global businesses of all sizes," said Steve Irvine, global head of the Facebook Marketing Partner program, in a statement. "Our partnership will allow Wix ShoutOut users to extend the reach of their email marketing campaigns to Facebook in just a few clicks, getting their content in front of the people who matter most to their businesses."
