Smartling Releases Translation Connector for SAP hybris Commerce

Smartling today released its Translation Connector for SAP hybris Commerce, which enables users to connect to Smartling's Global Fluency Platform from within the SAP hybris Commerce solution to submit content for translation and localization.

"Many Fortune 500 companies turn to SAP customer engagement solutions to improve the customer experience at every touchpoint," said Andrew Saxe, vice president of products at Smartling, in a statement. "These organizations understand that speaking their customers' language is a critical part of delivering the ultimate user experience, and our Translation Connector for SAP hybris Commerce enables them to easily, efficiently, and cost-effectively create content that supports their global customer engagement and growth goals."

Smartling is a member of the SAP PartnerEdge program and hybris Extend, an online integration marketplace for applications, extensions and network services developed by hybris partners, all of which are optimized to work with the SAP hybris Commerce solution.

Smartling's Translation Connector for SAP hybris Commerce offers the following:

  • Automation of the translation process: From content submission to completion, the entire translation process is automated through a single interface. Content in need of translation is automatically collected in Smartling's translation management platform and sent through fully customizable workflows. Once reviewed and complete, the content automatically appears on localized Web sites.
  • Control and visibility into translation project management: Users can monitor the activity and progress of translation projects.
  • In-context translation for high-quality multilingual content: Smartling's in-context translation interface enables translation resources to work in the layout of the user's store experience to help ensure content quality and accuracy from the start.

Smartling's Translation Connector for SAP hybris Commerce is the latest addition to a growing suite of enterprise platform connectors Smartling offers. Others include Adobe Experience Manager, HubSpot, and Sitecore, all built on Smartling's restful API.
