MindStream Partners with Talvis for Voice-Based BI Solution

MindStream Analytics, a consulting and managed services provider, has forged a strategic partnership with Talvis to integrate its flagship software, Savant Mobile, a business analytics tool that allows users to query their Oracle Hyperion Essbase systems by simply speaking to their iPhones/iPads. As part of the technology partnership, MindStream will provide consulting and implementation services for Talvis's patented voice-recognition business intelligence (BI) software.

Savant users can make report requests directly to their smartphones. Results are formatted into an interactive pivot table or graph, and can be modified by adding, changing, or deleting information as needed, all through the power of voice.

"Talvis has developed an amazing business intelligence tool that is radically different than anything else in the market. Our clients are very interested in its capabilities and ease of use. Savant is like a Siri for Essbase; users ask their smartphones a question and Savant provides the answer," said Lisa Spencer, executive vice president of sales and marketing at MindStream Analytics, in a statement. "Their voice-recognition technology is really a game-changer in the mobile BI space."

With this strategic partnership, enterprise performance management customers will be able to integrate a mobile voice recognition tool with their financial application. Once integrated, customers will have access to their data anywhere, at any time.

"We are very pleased to be partnering with MindStream Analytics, who have demonstrated expertise of services across Oracle Essbase and EPM products and are an Oracle partner," said Kevin Bermingham, managing partner at Talvis, in a statement. "Their network and industry reputation will expand our distribution and marketing channels."

Earlier this month, MindStream also partnered with Lavastorm.
