Melissa Data Expands National Change-of-Address Services in Europe

Melissa Data, a provider of global contact data quality solutions, has expanded its National Change-of-Address (NCOA) move-update services to 10 international markets. Melissa Data's NCOA capabilities now support Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

"Mailers and data processors manage a deluge of constantly changing address data. About 43 million individuals, families, and businesses move annually in the U.S. alone. International NCOA processing extends our capabilities and adds global impact in meeting this challenge, helping customers optimize mailing strategies to reduce costs, and eliminate undeliverable mail worldwide," said Greg Brown, vice president of marketing at Melissa Data, in a statement.

Melissa Data can match mailing lists against the full U.S. Postal Service NCOALink dataset of approximately 160 million records, which includes all permanent change-of-address records filed in the past four years. NCOA-verified mail allows mailers to receive bulk discounts, minimizing undeliverable mail and its corresponding processing requirements.

In Canada, Melissa Data is one of only a handful of vendors licensed by Canada Post to provide Canadian NCOA processing, matching data against more than 10 million change-of-address records filed by Canadian households and businesses within the past six years.
