Jaspersoft Partners with MapR Technologies

Jaspersoft, the Intelligence Inside applications and business processes, today announced a partnership with MapR Technologies, a provider of Hadoop technology for big data deployments, whereby Jaspersoft's business intelligence (BI) offering is now integrated with the MapR Distribution for Apache Hadoop.

MapR is available as an option within Amazon Elastic MapReduce. Jaspersoft and MapR are both available on a pay-per-hour basis on the AWS Marketplace.

"Customers can now combine MapR with Jaspersoft either on-premises or hourly in the cloud through Amazon Web Services," said Jon Posnik, vice president of business development, partners, and alliances at MapR, in a statement. "This powerful and flexible combination addresses customers' needs for Hadoop reporting and analytics."
