InsideView Updates Insights for Microsoft Dynamics 365

InsideView has updated Insights, the Microsoft-branded version of InsideView Sales, embedded within Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The new version rolls out as Microsoft launches its Dynamics 365 cloud business suite. Insights 4.0 is more deeply embedded in the sales workflow, so sellers can find data, insights, and connections wherever they are within their Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment. Before a seller even picks up a phone or types an email, Insights 4.0 provides critical information so they can target the right prospect with the right message at the right time, and open conversations through shared connections.

Insights 4.0, powered by InsideView, now offers a more streamlined, seamless user experience within the new Microsoft Dynamics 365, as well as the current version Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015. In addition to Insights' access to more than 30 million contacts, and the intuitive new interface, Insights 4.0 adds the following features:

  • New filtering capabilities to find and import contacts into CRM;
  • Discovery Center, where users can search InsideView's database of 12 million companies and add them to CRM;
  • Custom field mapping to allow Insights data to update company and contact records in Microsoft Dynamics 365;
  • Social feed suppressionto enable/disable social media integration; and
  • Social media stream customization to tailor the individual user experience.

"Microsoft is the only major CRM provider to embed external customer data, millions of key contacts, and timely, actionable insights within CRM at no additional cost. That's leadership," said Heidi Tucker, vice president of global alliances at InsideView, in a statement. "Buyers expect salespeople to be relevant, understand their business issues, and come prepared with meaningful solutions. Microsoft Dynamics 365 subscribers get that advantage included with their CRM Online license. All they have to do is turn it on. And now, it's even easier with Insights 4.0."
