Astute Previews ePowerCenter 9

Astute Solutions, a provider of customer experience and social relationship management solutions, previewed ePowerCenter 9, a CRM system with powerful device and browser flexibility, to be available this spring.

"Easy access to CRM systems has become a must-have for field employees, home workers, and even marketers," said Alex George, chief technology officer at Astute Solutions, in a statement. "When this new version is released, ePowerCenter 9 will work on Macs and tablets and have browser independence, so it will be a better tool for the growing variety of roles using it."

ePowerCenter 9 supports the Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari Web browsers. It will use responsive design, which means that it will scale appropriately from a 27-inch desktop screen down to a tablet screen, and for all sizes in between. It will also add touch screen capability.

As they handle cases, agents will see that many of the best features of ePowerCenter 9 are now easier to find and use, opening a shorter path to customer satisfaction. The user-friendly interface is now reflective of many popular social and mobile websites.

"This workspace will be easy to learn for both new and casual users without being a cumbersome change for experienced users," George said.

A large new portion of the screen will be used for applications delivering timely and relevant content to the agent, such as suggested responses from Astute Knowledge. And internal communication features will allow agents and supervisors to share information with specific agents or groups of users instantly.

Astute's last release of the ePowerCenter application was version 8.7, released in September.
