Mr. Calvo joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 2006 as an Information Technology Specialist in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research.  Mr. Calvo’s responsibilities included managing the Code Application and Maintenance Program (CAMP) and the Thermal-Hydraulic Domestic Users Group as program manager.

Prior to joining the NRC, Mr. Calvo worked in the private industry focusing on IT implementation, strategy consulting, project management and customer relationship management at various IT consulting companies.  Mr. Calvo holds a bachelor of arts in financial management from Catholic University and a master of science in information and telecommunication systems from Johns Hopkins University.
