Lattice Engines Adds HG Data's Installed Technology Datasets
Lattice Engines adds HG's global dataset of installed technologie to its predictive B2B sales and marketing platform.

<p">HG Data, a provider of competitive intelligence on installed technologies, and Lattice Engines, a provider of predictive marketing and sales applications, have entered into a partnership. This agreement gives Lattice Engines complete access to HG Data's global dataset of installed technologies to be used as a layer of historic technology usage data within its predictive sales and marketing platform.

Through its partnership with HG Data, Lattice will expand its network of content providers, which help create the Lattice Data Cloud. Lattice chose HG Data to incorporate installed technology intelligence on a global scale which fuels detailed analyses, including ideal customer profiling, market potential, competitive displacement, and predictive modeling. HG Data tracks current and past technology installations in more than 5,000 categories from more than 1,700 vendors in its proprietary datasets.

"Creating a comprehensive data platform is a critical step in ensuring that our predictive applications are providing actionable insights for our customers' sales and marketing efforts. HG Data has built an extensive and extremely accurate collection of software and hardware, including behind-the-firewall technology products, and we're thrilled to incorporate their data into our solution," said Steve Connolly, senior product manager at Lattice Engines, in a statement.

Given that past buying habits are often a key indicator of replacement opportunities, adding HG Data to Lattice's scoring platform seemed like a natural fit for our companies. With so many common customers, particularly with global, enterprise technology clients, our clients are the real winners here," said Mark Godley, chief revenue officer of HG Data, in a statement.

Within the past six months, HG Data has also partnered with SalesPredict, Everstring, and Leadspace.
