At Dreamforce Day 2, Salesforce.com Unveils the Salesforce ExactTarget Marketing Cloud
ExactTarget Marketing Cloud is part of the new Salesforce1 Customer Platform, which Salesforce.com rolled out on Day 1.

Salesforce.com has unveiled the Salesforce ExactTarget Marketing Cloud, the customer platform for 1:1 marketing, as part of its Salesforce1 platform. The ExactTarget Marketing Cloud provides digital marketing apps for email, mobile, social, web, marketing automation and connected products; it also provides data infrastructure that enables marketers to create a single view of every customer, manage the customer journey and deliver optimized content on every channel and device.

With the ExactTarget Marketing Cloud, marketers can now create a single view of every customer by integrating and aggregating data from a variety of sources. The marketing cloud also has the capability to define, manage and influence customer journeys through the ExactTarget Marketing Cloud Journey Builder application. Using this tool, marketers can map customer journeys, define campaign objectives and map digital marketing interactions, such as email, mobile, social and websites. 

The revamped ExactTarget Marketing Cloud enables marketers to create relevant, targeted email campaigns as well as manage, automate and optimize data-driven email marketing, real-time alerts and highly personalized communications for customers. The cloud also extends marketers’ reach, and allows them to reach customers anywhere through SMS, push notifications, in-app notifications and other alerts containing a myriad of content, including video, audio and images.

"The ExactTarget Marketing Cloud is the customer platform for 1:1 marketing, connecting companies with their customers in a whole new way," Scott Dorsey, CEO of ExactTarget Marketing Cloud, says. "With the Internet of Customers everyone and everything is connected, the ExactTarget Marketing Cloud makes it possible for marketers to deliver a seamless, 1:1 and relevant experience across email, mobile, social media, websites and even connected products." 

Integrations with Radian6, Buddy Media and Social.com give marketing teams a social-Listening capability, as well as publishing, engagement and advertising functionality across all social channels. The social tools available on the ExactTarget Marketing Cloud will provide insights from conversations happening online with real-time listening by using Radian6, scale content marketing, manage content, schedule posts and publish content with Salesforce Buddy Media, and create, optimize and automate social ad campaigns with Salesforce Social.com.

"Powerful platforms like the ExactTarget Marketing Cloud provide the crucial capabilities of allowing marketers to bring in customer data from many sources and deliver highly personalized marketing to customers across channels."
