NetBase Partners with DataSift
The partnership brings brands access to Facebook topic data.

NetBase, a social media analytics company, has partnered with DataSift, a human data intelligence provider, to bring customers PYLON for Facebook Topic Data, which includes anonymous and aggregated content data about specific activities, events, brand names, and other subjects shared on Facebook.

The DataSift PYLON API enables developers to run analysis on the topic data available through DataSift. The partnership with DataSift will enable NetBase customers to analyze audience-level insights about what is being shared on Facebook.

"We understand the global importance of Facebook and what our customers can achieve with the insights available through topic data, which is why we wanted to be one of the first analytics providers to partner with DataSift," said Pernille Bruun-Jensen, chief marketing officer at NetBase, in a statement. "Because of the sheer volume of members on Facebook, the aggregated and anonymized topic data that Facebook has is highly coveted."

By partnering with DataSift, NetBase can provide its customers with a greater understanding of what Facebook's 1.49 billion members are sharing about brands, their competitors, and industry in real time.
