Complementing the availability of its NetMotion Mobility XE, NetMotion Wireless has launched the Siebel CRM Mobilization Program, a solution designed to help customers extend existing CRM deployments over wireless networks without making changes to their existing infrastructures. NetMotion Mobility XE targets mobile computing issues related to intermittent connectivity, slower wireless network speeds, spotty network coverage, and network security. It also allows IT managers to control bandwidth usage and wireless data costs. Empirix
launched OneSight for Contact Centers, an end-to-end voice application management solution. The technology enables customer service executives and contact center/IT operations staff to address customer issues often obscured within their technology infrastructures. OneSight provides a single Web-based interface to observe customer experience; real-time alerts; integrated application and system performance data; configurable historical reports; and a service-level management module designed to help teams track progress and report against internal or external service-level agreements. iAnywhere Solutions introduced the Pylon Application Server 6.0, the newest version its server extending Lotus Domino environments to PDAs and smartphones. Enhancements include new a Web-based architecture leveraging iAnywhere M-Business Anywhere technology, JavaScript support for client-side business logic, scanning integration, and a Web-based management console, according to the company. Exact Software unveiled the new Web Shop, an online cataloging and order entry system that integrates with Exact e-Synergy and enables Exact Macola ES users to manage the processing and tracking of customer orders over the Internet. Web Shop allows users to create, configure, and customize multiple catalogs; automatically alert the client account manager of new orders in real-time; enable or disable client accessibility to online catalogs; and to provide customers with up-to-date inventory stock information. The Institute of Certified Sales Professionals and GrowthNet have made available the new Total Sales solution, a suite designed to help increase annual revenue for organizations with 10 or more B2B sales professionals. Features offered include sales assessments, personalized education, sales performance management, sales processes, certification, branding, competitor analysis, client profiling and targeting, sales channel optimization, and digital product demonstrations. CornerPost Software released TotalTrac, a Web-based work order tracking and asset management solution designed to consolidate all of an organization's in-house service, maintenance, and asset inventory needs under a single interface. Using a Microsoft SQL database, the solution automates the handling of trouble tickets, routine maintenance, and cataloging functions, according to the company. TotalTrac provides bar code and GPS support, the ability to attach files to a given asset record, and wireless access via PDA.
