CUSTOMER WINS Cognos and
BearingPoint announced that Labatt Breweries of Canada is implementing a CRM solution from the two companies. Labatt selected BearingPoint with Cognos as a subcontractor to combine Cognos BI and enterprise planning tools, to improve workforce efficiency, control, and planning. Labatt hopes the implementation will bring more targeted performance management, enable faster decision-making, and identify new business opportunities, distribution gaps, and sales changes in real time. Vanguard Investments Australia, a provider of index funds, has selected StayinFront as a CRM solution to help improve customer service. Vanguard Australia will use StayinFront Visual Elk CRM platform and Panorama data analysis to integrate customer information from several databases into a single platform. Hyperion announced that Rohm and Haas, a producer of specialty chemicals, is using Hyperion software to consolidate data from more than 100 different legal entities across the world. Rohm and Haas has implemented Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Analyzer. Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) has selected Opus Group, a provider of performance management solutions for the technical support function of enterprises, to improve operational performance in its technical support service centers. The Opus solution is currently operating successfully in a majority of CSC Level One Technical Service Centers worldwide. NEW PRODUCTS Verint Systems, a provider of analytic software-based solutions for communications interception, networked video security, and BI, announced a new analytics suite for its ULTRA solution. ULTRA Analytics will provide users with intelligence on agent performance, customer satisfaction, and why enterprise processes are ineffective. According to the company, managers can improve workforce performance, increase the effectiveness of upsell and cross-sell, and reduce customer defection. Mindjet, a provider of software for managing information, and Salesforce.com have introduced MindManager Accelerator for Salesforce.com. The new program is integrated with Salesforce.com via the sforce on-demand platform. MindManager Accelerator offers sales teams the ability to enter and analyze customer information and to communicate account status with other team members, sales management, and executives.
