Experian QAS Releases Phone Validation Software
Real-time intelligence enables organizations to capitalize on increasing mobile usage.

Experian QAS, a part of Experian Marketing Services and a provider of contact data management software and services, today announced the release of its new phone validation software that provides full phone number verification and identifies landline versus mobile phone type at the point of capture.

The tool provides access to data from more than 200 telecommunications and cable providers and leverages the same real-time interactive capabilities featured in all Experian QAS front-end products.

"Consumers spend more time on their phones than ever before, and they expect personalized and consistent brand interactions across channels. This means that companies need to focus on improving mobile capabilities," said Thomas Schutz, senior vice president and general manager of Experian QAS, in a statement. "With mobile source data now available, organizations can opt consumers in to SMS and text-based messaging during the data capture process, ultimately enhancing results from marketing and loyalty campaigns."
