DemandTec, a San Mateo, Calif.-based company that provides cloud-based merchandising and marketing solutions, has released several new features that are being incorporated into many of its applications. The updates provide deeper analytical decision-making, more comprehensive planning, and expanded community interaction on the network.
Highlights of the cloud-based enhancements include the following:
- DemandTec Decisions: Additional charts, graphs, and analytics components, such as event-level analytics and tools for planning trade promotion activities, have been added to help sales and marketing teams to create more comprehensive strategies.
- DemandTec Shopper Insights:< Through an expanded number of dashboards and additional analytics, users will receive increased visibility into their customers, including segmentation data, the size of their baskets, and how their shopping choices grow in time.
- DemandTec End to End Promotion Management: Additional integration points, such as new data exporting and reporting capabilities, and the use of Adobe InDesign will make promotion planning easier and faster.
- DemandTec Lifecycle Pricing: The new features will allow marketers and merchants to proactively assess and manage promotions by viewing actual sales information relative to forecasts.
DemandTec releases new updates quarterly, and the latest updates are available to customers at no additional cost.
