CallidusCloud, a cloud computing and sales effectiveness solutions company, is launching MySalesGame, a gamified collaborative selling platform for sales teams.
MySalesGame promises companies real-time visibility into rep performance, as well as a visualization tool to contrast results with that of top performers in an organization.
Borrowing attributes of game mechanics, MySalesGame allots a social currency to users in the form of badges, which are based on performance and can be redeemed for sharing credit, cash rewards, or online retail, which "are a vital addition to cash incentives" in driving sales effectiveness, according to Leslie Stretch, Callidus's president and CEO.
Gartner Research estimates that by 2014, more than 70 percent of large organizations will have deployed some form of gamified process or application into their mix. Sales teams can benefit from gamified processes when performance-driving incentives are tailored to desired outcomes.
In addition to tracking and rewarding performance, the MySalesGame platform includes a feature known as MySalesSherpa, an automated sales advisor that analyzes rep activity and automatically suggests performance improvements. The MySalesGame platform will be available in the fourth quarter of 2012 as part of the CallidusCloud SaaS suite or as a standalone solution.
The CallidusCloud platform is a multitenant solution and includes the Learning Cloud, SaaS Reporting and Analytics, Marketing Cloud, Selling Cloud, and Hiring Cloud. Callidus Software just acquired 6FigureJobs, an executive career community and job board, which will deepen the feature set of Hiring Cloud through extended video interviewing capabilities, video career posts, and pre-hire testing, the company says. Wipro Limited, Cisco, and Deloitte are among the companies that use 6FigureJobs to recruit and hire job candidates.
