Constant Contact has partnered with Yola on a widget for small organizations to add a "Join My Mailing List" box to their Web sites without any coding.
"The interesting thing about Yola was that they have a giant base of customers growing very, very rapidly," explains Len Bruskiewitz, senior director of partner programs at Constant Contact. "They've identified a significant subset of customers that are small businesses so it was just a big base to test this with and that's why we chose them as the first partner."
According to Bruskiewitz, Constant Contact has been a co-marketing partner with Yola for about a year and a half and the widget's development period was "pretty quick." "We were developing the widget capability and they implemented that technology on their side," he says.

Constant Contact's email marketing tool is well integrated with Yola site builder, allowing users to easily collect customer email addresses to grow their business."
"Typically the contact collection for small businesses happens on paper or via business cards so there is re-entering data where you can always make mistakes," adds Bruskiewitz. "This way, it just lives on their Web site live 24 hours a day when a customer or prospect comes by. They can very easily add themselves to a customer list so they can then start that relationship building."
Bruskiewitz says the widget should attract small business customers of "just about any kind." "It’s relevant for every small business, whether they focus on the business-to-consumer market or the business-to-business market, whether they are a non-profit or association," he says. "It really has universal interest for any small organization looking to acquire new customers."
The widget will automatically update Constant Contact users' email marketing lists with new email addresses collected from their Yola Web site. Users without a Constant Contact account can sign up for one through Yola. Current Yola customers are eligible for free coaching, webinars, and marketing templates.
